There are two good options for traveling to New Buffalo: car and train.
If you decide to take the train, search http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak for the route between Chicago and New Buffalo (your two options are Blue Water or Wolverine).
Most of the tickets are $9.50 one way. The train station in New Buffalo is downtown and quite close to the wedding site, and we'll send someone to pick you up when you arrive.
Since the wedding is at 1pm, if you're arriving on Saturday you'll want the morning train that leaves Chicago at 7:30 and arrives in New Buffalo by 9:39. (The next train doesn't arrive in New Buffalo until after 4.) If you're returning to Chicago on Saturday night, there is a 10:25pm train back.
If you decide to drive, you'll take I-90 Skyway East/Indiana Toll Road, then at Exit 21, merge onto I-94 E (toward Detroit). Take Exit 1 for M-239/LaPorte Road to get to New Buffalo. The drive takes about an hour and a half, and don't forget change for the tolls.
